I'm getting into my second read of the RAT, Jean Auel's The Shelters of Stone, which is one of the Earth's Children series.  I've read all the previous volumes, so now I have this one and the newest volume left to go.  I don't have a copy of the new one, The Land of Painted Caves, but I'll probably borrow it from the library in order to finish the series.  I don't see myself finishing The Shelters of Stone, but if I do, I have a Kindle book, Perfectly Matched by Heather Webber, ready to go (as well as several others on my book pile!).  What are you reading today?!

I've always been a little curious about the Earth's Children series, but I've never given it a try. If it's good Readathon material, I might have to check it out. Looks like you're doing great - keep up the excellent reading! =D

Megan,

It's a great series! You have to love chunksters, though. And sex. Because there is kind of a lot of sex in the books. One of my friends said she read the series in eighth grade and I was kind of appalled because I cannot fathom what my 13-year-old self would have done with all the steaminess...
