Three lovely books came my way this week. Laurie R. King's The Game, another Mary Russell/Sherlock Holmes mystery, is one I Mooched. This episode in the series involves a British spy, allegedly the man Rudyard Kipling patterned Kim after, who has gone missing. Mary and Sherlock must travel to India to find him. Since I LOVE books set in India, particularly in Holmes' time period, this seemed like one I had to have.
I also received two of three books that I won quite a while ago in a giveaway over at Heather's Library Ladder. The Day Watch and The Twilight Watch are books two and three in Sergei Lykyanenko's Russian vampire series. Book one is on its way!

The world's slowest read eh? I love that picture of your cat with the glowing eye!
My MM post is here.
I love the Mary Russell novels, although I think I've only read two so far. Weren't those vampire books made into movies? Enjoy your books!
Love your blog description!!! I feel like that right now...7 days and still on the same book!!! Looks like you received some good stuff!! And according to you this should last you for several months? LOL!!
Callista: I've finally had a chance to browse on over to your blog. Nice!
Avisann: Ooh, I'm glad to hear you liked those Mary Russell books...but I'm not sure about the vampire books. I'll have to check!
Staci: Good to see you, as usual! Yeah, my haul will probably last several YEARS, at the rate I'm going!
I checked them out on IMDb and yeah, all three books were made into movies (although the third one hasn't come out yet).
