Update

Well, it's been a whirlwind of a week so far, and we're only halfway through. My doctor has determined that my blood pressure is a tad too high, so I am now on meds for that and a low-sodium diet, as well. That is going to be hard for this fast food junkie.

My brother-in-law is in the hospital with a pretty serious bout of pneumonia. They are having trouble getting the fluid out of his lungs, and he is scheduled for surgery tomorrow morning. Please keep him in your thoughts and/or prayers.

Finally, I just found out that this AWESOME bar band that we used to know as Far from Einstein when I lived in the Atlanta area is now known as the Zac Brown Band and they are FAMOUS! I'm so flabbergasted. I mean, I remember when these guys were playing Fado and putting out their own CD's, back in 2002 or 2003. We loved them and were total groupies, despite the fact that they are a country band, and I'm not much into country. They covered a lot of awesome songs. I kind of want to get their CD, just for old times' sake.

Still not doing much reading, but am looking to get some reading time in this weekend, if I don't have to prepare for trials...

I'm Still Alive

Just very busy. Still reading the same book I was reading before I got married. Sigh. I'm not sure what I've been doing with my time, exactly, but I'm finding that there is still not much of it, even after the wedding. Well, I will say that this past weekend was my friend's bachelorette party in Daytona Beach, so that took my eyes away from the computer for quite a while. I'm also really behind on my feed reader. I'm making an effort, though. Will try to get caught up this weekend. I miss everyone out there in blog-land!
